Every Mr Tales book is printed only after you order it, so nothing sits in a warehouse and nothing is thrown away. Here is what to expect after you place your order.

1. Production

After you approve your personalized book, we prepare the print files and send them to our print partner. Production usually takes 2 to 4 business days. During the holiday season (November and December) it can take longer.

2. Shipping to the United States

  • When we ship: we aim to ship within 7 business days after you approve your book. Unless a different time is stated at checkout, we will ship your order within 14 days of receiving it.
  • Delivery time: at checkout you choose a shipping method, such as standard tracked or express shipping, and each method shows its estimated delivery time. These are estimates from our print partner and carriers, not guarantees. Deliveries to Alaska, Hawaii, US territories and APO/FPO addresses can take longer than the estimate.
  • Costs: shipping costs are shown at checkout before you pay. Orders over $75 ship free; this is shown on the product page, in your cart and at checkout.
  • Tracking: every order is shipped with tracking. We email you the tracking link as soon as it is available.

If we cannot ship on time, we will let you know before the promised date, give you a new date and offer you the choice to cancel for a full refund, as required by the FTC Mail, Internet, or Telephone Order Merchandise Rule. See Section 9 of our Terms of Service.

3. Customs and import duties

Our print partner sends each order to a print facility close to the delivery address. For orders to the United States this is normally a facility in the United States, so your book is shipped domestically and no import duties or customs fees apply. If your book is ever shipped from outside the United States and a carrier asks you to pay duties, taxes or import fees on delivery, contact us, before paying if you can, and we will reimburse the charges you paid.

4. Shipping to the Netherlands and Europe

  • Standard shipping to the Netherlands: 6 to 10 business days, EUR 4.95, free for orders over EUR 50.
  • Other European countries: shipping costs and delivery estimates are shown at checkout.

5. Multiple items

Orders with several items may arrive in separate parcels. If an item arrives more than 3 business days after the first one, please contact us.

6. Address and delivery problems

Please check your shipping address carefully. If a parcel is returned to us because of an incorrect or incomplete address, we can reship it, but we may charge the new shipping costs. For lost or damaged parcels, see our Refund Policy. If tracking shows your parcel as delivered but you cannot find it, check with neighbors and your mailbox, and then contact us so we can investigate with the carrier.
